On Minday 6 February, Robert L'Estrange, Shauna Kavanagh and John Rogerson graded in Kinnegad dojo before Zanshin instructors Proinsias O Fearghail and Liam Darcy. They were tested in kihon, kata and kumite and did themselves proud! Well done, folks!

New shodans in Edenderry!
Zanshin Karate-Do Midlands would like to congratulate Adam Hanlon and Ben Carolan of Edenderry Shotokan Academy on passing their Shodan grading on Saturday. This is a big step in the life of any karareka. Adam and Ben have trained hard for this grade, in their own dojo and in Kinnegad. Congratulations to the lads, to Sensei Ger McCarthy, chief instructor in Edenderry and to senseis Sean Osborne and Marcus Flood for all their great work!
