On Saturday 14 November 2015, Zanshin Karate-Do Midlands will hold our annual Tournament in Portarlington Community Centre, Portarlington Co. Laois. Juniors and adults may compete in Kata,Kumite (sparring) or both. Entry fee is €12 for one event, €20 for 2 events. There are divisions from under 8 to over 18, and each division is further divided into Beginners (white-blue) and Advanced (purple-black). Competitors will need a gumshield and mitts. All participating clubs must have their own insurance in place. For further details, contact a Zanshin instructor (contact details on About Us page). All competitors must pre-register by November 7th. Absolutely NO REGISTRATION on the day.

No training on Monday 26 October
Due to the bank holiday weekend,Zanshin Kinnegad will not be training on Monday 26th October. Training will resume on Monday 2nd November. For those of you yearning for more training,Sensei Gerard McCarthy is running a class on ippon kumite for students ranked blue belt and above on Saturday 24th October from 11-12.
