Grading in Kinnegad
On Monday 18 December,we graded our first Shodans from the Kinnegad club. Congratulations to Peter Govan and Louise Darcy! Thanks to grading panel Senseis Ger McCarthy,Ger Walsh,Liam Gorman,Liam Darcy and Proinsias O Fearghail. Well done to our shodans and to everyone else who graded!

Grading in Kinnegad
There will be a gradi g tonight in Kinnegad beginning at 7 p.m sharp. Students can come 20 minutes or so earlier if they want to practice. Cost of grading is €15. Suit MUST be worn. This is the last class of 2017.

Kinnegad on a break
Hi all.
Zanshin Kinnegad are on a break until Monday 4th September to give us all a chance to recharge our batteries! Classes will resume on the 4th at the usual times. Outstanding registration can be paid in September. Thanks to all students and parents from Senseis Liam and Proinsias.

Cheyne Halliday Memorial Tournament
Well done to all club members who participated in the Cheyne Halliday Memorial Tournament on Saturday 1st July. Sensei Liam Gorman organized this tournament in honour of Cheyne,late son of our Chief Instructor Shihan Brett Halliday 6th dan. Well done to Orla,Jack,Liam,Kasey,Cormac,James and Connor. We were proud of you all!
Registration fees due
Hi all
Club registration fees for Kinnegad are now due. This money pays for dojo insurance for the year. Fees are:€15 for teenagers or kids,€25 for adults. Please pay Senseis Liam or Proinsias by Monday 17 July. Anyone not registered after this date cannot continue to train as they will not be insured. This poilicy will be strictly enforced

Sensei Gorman visits Kinnegad
Tonight (10 April) Sensei Liam Gorman from Tullamore visited our Kinnegad club and instructed our classes. In the junior class,he concentrated on correct foot movement and Taikyoku Shodan,while the seniors broke down Heian Sandan to discover its applications. A great time was had by all! There will be no class in Kinnegad on Easter Monday.
