Brown belt grading!

Congratulations to Zanshin Karate-Do assistant instructors Ollie Henchy and Fergus Fenlon who successfully graded to Brown 2 (Nikyu) last night. The grading took over an hour and a half, and comprised fitness and conditioning, kihon (basics), kata, kata applications, defence against weapon attacks, five-step, one-step and semi-free sparring and of course plenty of jiyu kumite! (free sparring). The panel of Zanshin instructors werte very impressed with the levels of physical fitness and technical expertise displayed.
